We are very excited to announce the addition of two NEW Orthopedic Surgeons to our Medicine in Motion team: Drs. Saleh and Amirault!

Dr. Hosny Saleh has joined the team and is happy to see patients with or WITHOUT A REFERRAL for the following conditions:

• Joint pain — knee, hip, shoulder, elbow, wrist, ankle, foot
• Osteoarthritis — assessment and conservative management
• Sports and overuse injuries (ligament sprains, muscle strains, tendinopathies)
• Mechanical back and neck pain
• Tendon and soft-tissue injuries
• Joint and soft-tissue injections (cortisone, viscosupplementation where appropriate)
• Second opinions on existing orthopedic diagnoses
• Determination of whether further imaging or surgical referral is needed

Dr. Joseph Amirault is an orthopaedic surgeon with fellowship training in hip and knee reconstruction. Dr. Amirault previously worked as a staff orthopaedic surgeon in New Brunswick and has recently returned to Nova Scotia. At MIM he can provide assessment and non-operative management of a wide range of musculoskeletal conditions, including arthritis, sports injuries, and other upper and lower extremity problems. He works collaboratively with referring physicians to provide timely assessment and coordinated care
